Starting this to give a voice to the "forgotten generation." After searching and finding many of the same typical travel blogs (to my disappointment), I decided to give an honest expression about my experiences; the good, bad, and snarky. A reflection of my travels, if you will, and noticing the magical things.
Wanderlust and a love of photography started early for me, as is often the case in the community. I always love a good (or mediocre) road trip, which is how travel started in my earliest memories. Adulting responsibilities (single mom, financial struggles, school, etc.) prevented too much travel in my younger years. Life was just about getting by and did not allow for much adventure. I took the kiddos on a couple of close weekend getaways that would these days be called a staycation - daytime at the beach, night at a concert. Fast forward to now, having grown kiddos and finally enjoying the fruits of my labor while also filling the need for a creative outlet.
I will make my year, the Year of the Dragon, memorable. Come and find out Where I Am Going to make that happen.
